Paneer and mushroom bake with herbed green beans

Ingredients

  • 700ml milk 
  • 1 packet creamy mushroom soup 
  • 2tsp oil 
  • 1 onion, chopped 
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes 
  • 2 finely chopped green chilies 
  • 1 capsicum ,chopped 
  • 500gm paneer (cottage cheese)
  • ½ cup grated ,processed cheese

METHOD

  • Make soup as per packet directions, using milk instead of water.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry onions when onions soften, add tomatoes, green chilles and capsicum. Then add carrots. 
  • Add the paneer and the mushroom soup .
  • Put into a dish and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  • Bake at 180 C (350 F) till cheese melts, for about 30 mints. Serve with naan or pita bread and herbed green beans.
