Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons split black gram (urad dal) flour
  • 2 cups plain yogurt (dahi)     
  • 1 teaspoon green chilli paste
  • 5 curry leaves (kadipatta)     
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoon cilantro leaves

METHOD

  • Mix 2 cups of water in the plain yogurt and churn.
  • In a pan heat ghee. Add cloves and cinnamon (dalchini).
  • Then add cumin seeds, curry leaves, red chillies and asafoetida.
  • Pour butter-milk and after 2-3 minutes mix black gram flour and churn.
  • Add salt, green-chilli paste, sugar and boil.
  • Remove and sprinkle cilantro leaves.
