Ingredients

  • 100 gram beans
  • 200 gram flattened rice (aval/poha)
  • 100 gram cauliflower
  • 50 gm carrot
  • 50 gram green peas
  • 12 curry leaves (kadi patta)
  • 1 (big) onion 
  • 3 slit green chillies
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt  
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)
  • 2 teaspoon clarified butter (ghee)
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder 

METHOD

  • Clean and soak flattened rice (aval/poha) in 400ml water.
  • Keep it for half an hour.
  • Cut all the vegetables into thin long pieces.
  • In a kadai pour oil and heat. Put jeera then add the vegetables.
  • When it is cooked add salt and flattened rice (aval/poha) (after draining water).
  • Cook for some more time a few minutes only.
  • Add curry leaves.
  • Add 2 teaspoon clarified butter (ghee) and garam masala powder.
